SUMMARY

Based on our interviews and survey results (150 respondents), we (team of 2 Product Managers) ideated and built a social travel app from scratch with Web Developers and UX Designer from GA where users can browse through the app for a destination they want to visit and have access to reviews and recommendations from their friends and choose to share their recommendations with their network and friends.We accomplished this project in a span of 2 weeks. We followed agile processes by performing 2 sprints of 1 week each and following best practices like sprint planning meeting, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.

METRICS & GOALS

We started our MVP with 2 destinations: San Francisco, Sydney. Our goal is to contact as many people we know who can provide us with 5 places they would recommend in these destinations with a rating and a quick review. We will manually enter these in our database to have genuine reviews people can trust from Day 1 of launch.

Our KPIs will be:

50 new user signups
- The number of places recommended by users: 5/user
- NPS
